Metro's Look Book: The Karl Lagerfeld Competition

As Global Guest Editor, Lagerfeld will spend the day in the Metro Paris newsroom, where he will work with editors, produce illustrations and comment on the day's news for the edition — “The world according to Karl.” The special issue will also kick off Metro’s exclusive coverage of the four global fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan and Paris. All content will run in Metro newspapers around the world.

You have now the chance to become the editorial assistant in Paris and win a selection of items from the Lagerfeld’s collections. Upload a photo or photos that visualize your personal look, try to get as many votes as possible by sharing or liking photos from your Look Book with your friends on Facebook or other social media. Ten (10) most voted Look Books (profiles) in every country will be the global finalists, Karl Lagerfeld will choose one winner from the global finalists. To get as many votes as possible, share your look with friends on Facebook and other social media. Good luck!

How to create a Look Book?

  1. Sign up via Facebook or manually.
  2. Fill in the required information, including a description of your "fashion statement" – your personal sense of style.
  3. Upload at least one photo, of yourself and your outfit.
  4. Promote your Look Book by sharing or "liking" the photos from your Look Book via Facebook or other social media to get as many votes as possible.
  5. The 10 Look Books, with most votes in every country will be global finalists.
  6. The global jury, lead by Karl Lagerfeld, will select one global winner.
